RFBC Project Launch at the 1st regular session of the Fisheries and Aquaculture Sectoral Council of Ministers.

On Friday, 2nd March the GIZ project on Fisheries, namely the Responsible Fisheries Business Chains Project, was launched at the Fisheries and Aquaculture Sectoral Council of Ministers in Entebbe.
It was the first sectoral council since the review of the LVFO convention, during which the head of program, Adi Gerstl, introduced the project to the representatives of the riparian countries of Lake Victoria: Hon. Mr. Ssempijja Vincent Bamulangaki (Minister of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries in Uganda), Hon. Mr. Luhaga Joelson Mpina (Minister of Livestock and Fisheries in Tanzania) and Mr. Harun Rashid Khator (authorizes representative of the Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation in Kenya) as well as members of the Lake Victoria Fisheries Organisation and other stakeholders.
